Riding School

Whether you are a complete beginner, an experienced rider or someone that just wants to get back in the saddle again, Grandview Equestrian Centre is the place to start. Every lesson at Grandview Equestrian Centre is completed under the watchful eye of Adelyn Fallon.

Adelyn in an accomplished rider having competed up to Grand Prix level in show jumping, a Federation Equestrian International jumping steward, and Equestrian Australia jumping judge. With years of experience working with riders right from grass roots though to established riders who need help refining their competition performance, Adelyn is ready to help take you or your child on their equestrian adventure.

At Grandview Equestrian we have a beautiful team of school horses ready for you to ride. Knowing and understanding that every rider is different, we make sure we have a wide range of horses so we can find everyone their perfect match.

These lessons run for 45 minutes and can be completed on a school horse or on a horse of your own.

Saturday program runs every Saturday of the school term between 12.30pm and 3.30pm. In the 3 hours with us students will participate in a small group lesson, learn how to tack up, groom, equine first aid and dietary requirements, how to drive a harness pony, and have heaps of fun while doing so!

Tiny Tots Program

Grandview offers a tiny tot program for children between the ages of 4-6 which runs during school hours.

It's aimed to provide children with the skills of handing ponies, and getting comfortable sitting on pony. The lesson runs for 45 minutes, and includes leaning how to tack up and care for a pony, a small ride around the farm, followed by how to pack a pony away.

School Holiday Program

Our school holiday programs run on selected days of the school holidays offering an alternative to child care programs. We aim to provide students with a fun and informative day while allowing their parents to continue their normal work timetable. Our school holiday program runs from 8.00am until 3.00pm. While at our school holiday program your child will get to complete the following:

-Learn to safely handle horses

-Learn how to groom and care for horses

-Learn what it is really like having a horse

-Go on a feed run around the farm

-Other relaxed horse activities

-Cart driving

-Specialist guest educators

Stable Sleep Out

Our stable sleep-out programs run on selected Saturday nights during summer. Children are dropped off at 3pm. Once dropped off they each have a group riding lesson, go on the feed run, set up their camp bed in one of the stables, have a BBQ dinner, sit around a small outdoor fire pit roasting marshmallows and  go to bed around 9pm.  We will have horses in stables either side of the stables the children are sleeping in so it will really feel like a stable camping experience.

In the morning, the children will go on the horse breakfast run, followed by breakfast for themselves, packing up their camp beds, and getting picked up at 10am.

Our Lesson Policy

When booking a weekly lesson space at Grandview Park, you are committing to a term. This is because we book that horse and time slot up for you every week of that particular school term, and are unable to fill it if you are away as you will be wanting that space back the following week.

We understand that life sometimes takes an unexpected turn and things do come up. We request that you provide a minimum of 48 hour’s notice if you or your child is unable to attend their lesson space for a particular week. If less than 24 hour’s notice is given, the lesson must still be paid for in full.

Riding in extreme weather is anything but fun! We will never run lessons that we wouldn't ride in ourselves. This includes temperatures exceeding 32 degrees Celsius, thunder, lightning, hail, heavy rain falls, high winds etc. All students will be notified if their lesson time is looking like it will be effected by extreme weather and we will do everything we can to reschedule.
